Thrifting

So, went thrifting today and found a few fun bits. I picked up these vintage doily patterns for pennies! I think I paid the same price they were way back when! I cannot imagine that I will try them all but perhaps one or two and these patterns never go out of style.

I also found this interesting little box. I assume it is for jewelry and perhaps is made of Bakelite? I just thought it was a bit unusual.

This little tin is marked from England and for a quarter, well, how could I pass it up. (I know, another dust collector.)

Great finds! That tin is exactly what I've been looking for to keep the ibuprofen in my bathroom in...

Hi Angela, that decorated box looks just like the purses that were so popular in the 1970's when I was a young teen. They were all the rage to get the unfinished boxes at the craft store and add the handle and decorate yourself. In hindsite it was a pretty silly way to carry around your stuff! xo, suzy
