Cafe Chat May 16 2009

If Fear or Finances (or any other stumbling block) were not a problem, is there something you have always wanted to do or try that you have not done?
Do you think eventually you will do the thing you mentioned above? Explain your answer.

I would love to have a women's fellowship center. Somewhere that women from all walks of life could come for fellowship, encouragement, perhaps life classes like cooking, needle arts, gardening and bible studies. I feel that women in today's society are pulled in so many directions and this would be a place of grounding.
Is this too big a dream? I guess not, as I have had it for some time. Maybe God has laid this on my heart and let it settle for a while. I have taken the first step and am teaching Creative Workshops at a women's shelter. Perhaps this is the first step...

That's an awesome dream, and He will keep opening the doors in His time! As He opens them, walk through.

I also dream of running a guest house for people out on short term missions, much like the one we stayed in in Uganda.

If this dream is one you can't shake, then I'd suspect it's from God. Let Him show you the unfolding of how it will all come together. I know He'll give you the grace to do all that is required. Blessings on your endeavors!

That is such a wonderful dream! If you were anywhere near me I would have been the first to register at the fellowship center. I will pray that the Lord will bring this dream to fruition.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and the encouraging comment you left. I will start saving for real! God bless you.

Your dream is incredible and worthy; plan to bring it to fruition. I've always wanted to go on a missions trip and am headed to Tomsk, Russia in December. There are those who think I'm crazy for going -back- to Russia and others who say the same because I'm headed to Siberia in December/January but I'm excited. God will use the trip and those of us going to His incredible use.
I heard someone say the other day, "stay ready so you don't have to get ready". Good advice. God will open the doors as He wills when His people show they are ready.
